Power Transmission

Power-transmission drives—gearboxes, motors, pumps, and compressors—load bearings with high torque, combined radial/axial forces from helical gears, start–stop shocks, misalignment, and elevated oil temperatures. The typical bearing toolkit includes cylindrical roller bearings for high radial capacity, tapered roller or angular-contact pairs where thrust control is critical, and spherical roller bearings at non-locating positions to absorb misalignment and shaft growth.

Conveyor

Conveyors run in dust, moisture, and vibration. Head/tail pulleys, take-ups, idlers, and drives load bearings with misalignment, shock, and continuous rotation. Effective designs prioritize sealing (triple-lip, labyrinth/taconite), correct internal clearance for hot running, and easy relubrication to keep lines moving.

Construction

Construction equipment—excavators, wheel loaders, crushers, screens, and conveyors—subjects bearings to heavy shock, continuous vibration, shaft deflection, abrasive dust/mud, and heat at hubs and drives. Effective designs prioritize high static/dynamic capacity, misalignment tolerance, heat-stabilized rings with C3/C4 clearances, and heavy-duty sealing with grease-purge paths for long service life.

Agriculture

Agricultural equipment subjects bearings to abrasive dust and mud, water spray, shock loads, and long harvest runs followed by months of storage. Core machines include tractors, combine harvesters, tillage implements, balers, and sprayers. Typical bearing families are sealed insert bearings in pillow/flange/take-up housings, agri wheel hubs (round/square/hex bores), spherical or tapered roller bearings for hubs and drives, and deep-groove ball bearings for motors and augers. Key design priorities: high radial/axial capacity, misalignment tolerance, reinforced sealing, corrosion-resistant materials/greases, and relubable heavy-duty housings.

Food and Beverage

Washdown, caustic cleaners, and strict hygiene standards demand bearings that resist corrosion, block contamination, and keep lines running. Typical points include fillers, cappers, labelers, washdown conveyors, packers, spiral freezers, and pumps. Designs prioritize stainless materials (AISI 440C/304/316), IP69K-style sealing, NSF H1 lubricants, and rounded/stand-off housings to shed water and debris.
